      Damar did his best to redeem himself at the end, becoming the face of the Cardassian resistance to the Dominion.

      The first time we see cardassians, they seem shady AF and the leader is played by the same actor as Gull Dukat so he has all the same mannerisms and way of speaking as Dukat; seemingly sarcastic and arrogant as hell. In the end, though, they were pretty cool.

      Kinda feel bad for the one at Ten Forward who started speaking to Miles. He’s over here trying to be friends and O’Brien is straight up “I don’t hate YOU. I hate what you made ME do.”

        By DS9 he managed to bond with the Bajoran raised Cardi Rugal. Mind you, it was over their shared dislike of Cardassian food that Keiko prepared for them.
