Not about innovation but how these Chinese companies blindly copy iOS to look similar. Insted of making their own desing they are copying apple and this thing can be seen on almost every Chinese Android skins not just these two.

So you don’t know what your meme is about, It’s about the hardware stuff. The software is:

      1. Android, so you can use whatever interface app you like. All my phones look not like iPhone, but like my phone, because I use my saved preset of button layout, icon style, gestures, etc.
      2. The ones that come from Xiaomi and most other popular brands are not copying iOS.And some devices are “Android One”, a clean android system
Nobody is trying to steal your precious interfaces, Android is organized differently, so it makes no sense to have half android-style and half iOS-style

That’s why I mentioned Xiaomi and Oppo who made their UI look like iOS. And yes Oppo’s ColorOS is half iOS half Android. On the other hand Pixel UI, Nothing OS, Hello UI use stock Android UI. At least they don’t have an identity crisis like HyperOS.

            Now, show the control panel.

Lol, look at the Settings icon. Didn’t bother to develop their own.

I’ll give you that, but it seems to me that you must not have been around for the surge of iPhone bootlegs earlier in the smartphone era.

Lock screen, default background, fonts, literal stolen icons (not just stupidly similar ones), Chrome labelled as Safari, etc.

Settings panel design and especially the icon are super minor.

Hell, what about new Samsungs disabling the App drawer by default and tossing all apps on the home screen?

If you look closely iOS 18 is actually a replica of the Chinese phones’ UI.
