Zack Hoyt, the popular streamer best known as Asmongold, has had one of his channels temporarily banned from Twitch after garnering backlash for a racist rant about Palestinians and the conflict in Gaza.
Looks like he made a follow up and apology video. Hopefully he’s serious and actually follows up since it sounds like he’s taking the ban and his father reaching out to him as a wake up call.

More interesting, to me, as someone that had only heard about this from headlines, you can clearly see the mental illness pervasive in his community by looking at the comments and even moreso by looking at the guy’s room. Happens a lot with streamers, they sit there rotting to an audience of yes men, if anyone doesn’t agree they can just remove their opinion, while making money. So it just reinforces the behaviour.
I have no interest in his content, but I hope he does change. But maybe you are right that he will just slip back again after fostering that toxic environment for another year.
