I just want a sidebar to mess around with first before I make the changes to my actual community’s sidebar.
minus-squareGamerBoy705link5•1 year agoModerators only means that only moderators are able to create new posts. Anyone can still view the community and interact with the posts/comments.
minus-squareSeanOPlink2•1 year agoSo ergo no posts=nothing to see. If I just give it some random name I should be fine, I’m guessing.
minus-square@PriorProjectlink2•edit-21 year agoIf you post, the post will be public. If you squatted a community and didn’t do anything with it I imagine you’d be at risk of: Having someone else petition the admins to actually do something with it. Having it removed in spam cleanups. What would be the purpose of a community that users can’t post to and mods don’t post to?
minus-square@Auxlink2•1 year agoTo test platform features. I used to have a private sub on Reddit for this purpose so when I was modding the real subs I knew what I was doing and how.
minus-square@PriorProjectlink1•1 year agoFair enough. I’d recommend to fill out the sidebar with an explanation like this so folks understand what it’s about. Good luck.
