The thing about the religious is that they don’t really believe that atheists exist. They think it’s a giant joke at their expense.
This is primarily because they are so arrogant and indoctrinated that they cannot accept that someone else’s point of view could be just as valid to that person, as their point of view is to themselves.
Yeah, that’s the circle of life. But with that, like the poster in the screenshot, I find factory farming of animals to be absolutely horrendous and try to avoid supporting it. I feel hunting, on the other hand, is absolutely acceptable, and in some ecosystems necessary.
I agree. I’m native and I am a vegetarian, but I can’t say eating animals is wrong, no more wrong or immoral than if a bear ate me. I just choose not to. If I did eat an animal it would have to be hunted, treated with respect, and not wasted. So I eat it maybe once a year at family gatherings . But even that is enough for vegans to say I’m just as bad as a factory farmer, which honestly I think is hubris.
You want to choose not to eat meat, great. But to think we humans are above it all, above this world and the circle of life as you said, is just narcissism. Especially when it’s a city white kid telling natives they’re terrible for surviving as that always have
Or hear me out. There is no god and we’re all just animals eating each other
