    Gas is still allowed for cooking and fireplfireplaces 🤦‍♀️ that doesn’t solve much since all the gas lines to homes leaking is still the primary issue

      I found it ridiculous that when I told landlord could smell gas, he was like…“well we can’t smell anything” and when they finally called someone out, the tech/engineer just said - “yea it’s normal to have a bit of a leak at the meter”. These people live in the same fucking building!
      If I smelled gas in UK, I called gas company, someone would be out urgently and fix it either inside or outside the house until there was nothing noticeable. I no longer wonder why shit blows up due to gas leaks in NA

      Cooking consumes much less gas then home heating and it is much easier to replace. In other words the gas grid will die with that law in place.
