Summary

Unidentified drones were recently spotted over the US air base in Ramstein, Germany, and facilities belonging to German arms maker Rheinmetall, according to Der Spiegel.

Similar sightings occurred earlier in Brunsbüttel, with some officials suspecting Russian espionage, though no evidence has been confirmed.

The US Air Force stated the Ramstein base experienced “no impacts” and is monitoring the airspace with German authorities.

This follows reports of drone sightings in New Jersey and at UK air bases, which US authorities say do not currently pose a national security threat.

They did an oopsie in the 40s and it’s inertia from there.

That said, IIRC there is a German base in the US too.

Hehe calling that a base in Germany is an understatement if you’ve ever been there. It’s a God damn American city in the middle of Germany lol

Makes it easier to bomb other countries when you have somewhere to do a layover.
