Apple is also preventing the use of an open-source and privacy respecting app to journal emotional health each day (assuming you want to sync that data to your personal cloud storage).
That’s how their marketing department spinns it, yes. But it is well studied that Apple devices phone home even more privacy sensitive data-types than stock Android do, and Apple bought and runs a web-advertisement company that does the same kind of targeted advertisement as all the others.
