Tolerance as a concept does more harm than good because it’s so abused by assholes. “So much for the tolerant left!”. Nobody claimed tolerance is a virtue in every case! You should be tolerant of your neighbour painting his house in a color you don’t like. Being tolerant when your neighbours get deported to death camps? Not so great.
