I reall hope the true Adjuster shows up agian somewhere while Luigis trial starts, and blows the entire thing wide open. Until that happens Im also happy to see Luigi as an icon of change.
If he is actually not the real guy, the way the system has come down on him is horrible. I’ll stand behind him just for that.
Just a reminder that Jury Nullification means you can decide that someone is guilty of a crime, but their actions were justified. This has historically been used to free people who aided escaping slaves in Northern courts.
He ditched 2 backpacks 2 jackets, 2 pairs of pants, 2 masks, and kept the murder weapon on him, and also money from 2 countries, yet 0 evidence of him trying to leave the country? No airplane ticket… which he could have used to leave the country immediately following the attack, yet… No evidence presented that a ticket was ever bought in his name or the fake ID name. So without intent to leave… Why have money you couldn’t spend on the U.S. on your person?
The only thing we know for sure is that someone died, and they found someone they are blaming. Now if someone wanted that guy dead for being directly responsible for the deaths of ~51,000 people… maybe a conspiracy would be that that this guy got caught on purpose knowing he has a solid allibi and would take all this time away from the true killer getting followed so they can get away.
Do I believe that? Who knows, it’s conspiracy. But if they get it wrong once… What are the odds they’ll ever be able to have a solid enough case against someone else? I’d say there would be room for reasonable doubt right from the start, meaning the charges should never stick
Too bad he didn’t do it.

Does it matter?

Well clearly he’s innocent until he’s proven guilty…
