I’m confused by this Birds aren’t real book.

Is it satire? Is it a “real” conspiracy that real people believe in?

And yeah in this timeline both options are possible even simultaneously.

It’s a parody conspiracy theory, in the same way as the flying spaghetti monster was a parody religion. People participated “eyes open” (aware it was parody, doing it as a joke) others adopted it “eyes closed” (believing it)

Does this Connor dude believe in it?

I should start some imaginary conspiracy too, then write books about it, and earn loads of money from these suckers

All the countries are really very close together and the airline industry is just in on it. They’re really just flying around in circles to make it seem like the trip takes a long time. The Atlantic is only about 200 miles across, Europe is basically just over the horizon.

That’s what happened to Amelia Earhart, she found out about it and was going to tell everyone so they had to stop her.

The flat Earth conspiracy theory is really just a false flag operation to make conspiracy theorists look stupid. So that if anyone ever finds out about the close countries conspiracy no one will believe them.

Yeah now I’m not sure if you’re being serious and really really dumb or if you’re joking
