I remember a poll from before the election showed like 70% of voters were going to be displeased with either result.
That’s a huge number, and comes from just ~20% of voters from each side not liking the person they voted for. And it seems like it was a lot more than 20%…
But I just live in a red state, where my family all votes trump and so do most everyone else. The hometown I grew up in has went over 90% trump in the last three elections…
So maybe you do interact with Republicans more than I do and you understand them more, but unless you live in MarLago I doubt you have to deal with them more than I do.
Hopefully that changes with the DNC chair election…

Because Trump won the DNC has a chance to improve drastically, and even if OMalley gets it, that’s still a big improvement. But I’m hoping it’s one of the others with zero connections to the neoliberal old guard
