My wife got me a Switch for my 36th birthday after years away from Nintendo and I gotta say it feels good to be back. The N64 was a big part of my youth.
I will start out by saying these joy-cons take some getting used to. So I ordered a pro controller and will probably never look back once it arrives.
Anyway, there have been so many amazing games I’ve missed out on over the years it’s hard to keep track. Hoping you all can help! Here’s my current backlog, what else should I add?
- Metroid Dread (currently playing)
- Metroid Prime
- BOTW (a no-brainer)
- Luigi’s Mansion 3
- Super Mario Odyssey
- Kirby and the Forgotten Land
- DKC Tropical Freeze

I agree, the only console I haven’t followed is Xbox. Last one I had was the original. I follow PC, Nintendo, and Sony since it covers everything. Xbox doesn’t really have originals so it was pretty easy to ditch, especially now with gamepass I can just play most of their games on PC anyway. Now if only I had enough time to keep up with all the content these days!
