      A local car dealership sells most of their cars for around $5000, and they look better than this. Sometimes I can find a gem there with only 168k miles.

        This would be a collector or enthusiast car now, which is why I say it’s more valuable.

        It may not look like much to the untrained eye, but the body and paint look pristine even though this thing is roughly 40 years old. The only flaw I see is the little corner of the quarter panel near the bumper that looks rusted out. It’s just dusty and dated looking which is why you might think it’s not worth much, but there aren’t many examples of these left out there on the road.

        And I’m saying this car is worth significantly more than that since it is now a classic and in pretty good shape.

        A $700 car in current time (if they still existed) would be some clapped out Nissan Sentra from 2006 with a salvage title and 6 previous owners not a 40 year old domestic with clean paint and a straight body.
