In Germany something like this would probably never happen bc some asshole would be like “hurr durr what if a millionaire used the service, my taxpayer euro would be wasted on somebody who doesn’t desperately need it hurr durr we cannot let that happen I would rather not give to a 100 who need it before this unholy injustice happens that would be giving to a single person who doesn’t.”
