For some reason earlier today I looked up a giant list of all sins and I’ve made a few conclusions.

1: Lust is overrated. It’s too broad of a concept and there are significantly more specific sins that can be committed.

For example, lusting after a woman is bad… Homosexuality (depending on the translation technically) is also bad… So what’s left? Loving yourself? No! Also bad! All of these are sins and personally I think all 3 are epic and should be done way more often.

2: stealing and theft are listed as different sins… ??

3: being drunk and throwing parties that involve alcohol are both sins. Personally I don’t drink so this doesn’t affect me in the slightest… But the most hardcore jebus people I’ve ever met have had a beer in their hands and party whenever a ball is being thrown.

4: did you know that it’s actually illegal to swear an oath? Meaning that if you don’t want to sin… It’s impossible to swear into office or give a court testimony… Kinda fucked up for “gods given government” or whatever the fuck

5: honestly I’m just a big fan of “effeminacy” and I should buy another skirt tbh. Need more effeminate men/mascs in my life.

6: I’m not sure if this message counts as “idle words” “vain Jangling” or “jesting” more but I wouldn’t mind being able to knock out 3 sins at once.

Can you explain how they’re different? The definition I found makes them sound identical: “theft; the action or crime of stealing” (Oxford dictionary).

That’s wrong. And the comment your replying to gives you the explanation. But in case that’s not enough: theft deprives people of something while stealing doesn’t. Copying is not theft.
