What’s decent about defending a Nazi?

He’s not a nazi. It’s questionable at best. And yet you guys go out of your way to shout that he’s a nazi

        He looks like a Nazi
        Talks like a Nazi
        Acts like a Nazi

        What would convince you?

That he did something that’s actually bad.

          Like killing people.

But just reaching his hands in the air once that might be related Nazism, didn’t make him “definitely a nazi”

Surely we can find hints that somebody is a Nazi before we find out that they’ve killed people.

But jumping to conclusions is bad right?

There’s definitely interpretation to this gesture he did. This doesn’t make him a nazi. The people aggressively trying to push the users that he’s a nazi are acting more like Nazis than him.

This could be a mistake or a silly blunder or even just him trying to throw his affection out. But people shouting and screaming, calling people names and being derogatory is disturbing

Famously exclusionist, the National Socialists gained popularity for their (checks notes…) inclusionary stance on who could be a nazi.

Sounds wrong to me, but I’m not a Histrionics professor, so I could be wrong.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xDyPSKLy5E4&t=706s He sure doesnt smell like a heckin nazi. Im sure he has apologized and interperted the gesture.

Maybe people are calling names because you are staring at a duck and saying it is in fact a camel. Oh wow would you look at that, literal nazi communities love the shit out of musk for doing the nazi salute.

He’s posted in support of far-right extremists in Germany and the UK multiple times, he’s ‘liked’ antisemitic posts on his shitshow of a site, he’s used avatars that are used by the alt and far right. And now he’s done this. A nazi salute. He’s a nazi. Nobody needs to ‘go out of their way’ to call him a nazi when everything he says and does shouts the fact from the fucking rooftops.

BBC “new profile image which depicts the character Pepe the Frog - a meme that has been used by far-right groups.”

                  You can’t take this seriously.

So he had a picture of Pepe that makes him a nazi?

                  Mind blown

Well done. You managed to fixate on one and only one thing and somehow find that that totally exonerates Musk from being a nazi despite everything else. That’s quite a feat of cognitive dissonance.

It’s not anyone else’s responsibility to pry your eyes open so you can move the goalposts. Don’t think he’s a Nazi because he’s not a party member? That’s fine, but he’s throwing Nazi salutes and talking about how the AfD can save Germany so a lot of us are going to call him a Nazi because he seems to want to be a Nazi, or even enjoys being called a Nazi.

Oh he makes big tweet where he agrees with tweet that say da joos are bringing in minorities to destabilize america, is from a literal nazi family, he doesn’t apologize for the literal nazi salute at all.

There are thousands of politicans all around the world that don’t do the gesture at politcal events.

You’re welcome to do the questionable gesture infront of a synagouge, israeli embassy or really any busy public place.

nope, I’m totally morally vacuous and hypocritical, for sure that’s the case. definitely, I look at the nazis organizing into an ethostate much like israel, killing like 20 million people, and think. yeah, that wasn’t what was wrong there, and my sympathies shouldn’t be extended out to the gazans. I just find their aesthetics offensive, that’s the real problem. I definitely haven’t seen people collecting pieces of their children in plastic grocery bags and talk about how they would rather be dead online and talk about how they can smell the rotting bodies trapped under the rubble 24/7.
