My cousins had a weird space in their house that was on top of a staircase, it was basically a storage space for bedding but perfect for us kids to hide in. We’d access it through a small door that was 1,5 meter up from floor. It was big enough to lie in and sit upright. I wish I had that in our flat, I’d definitely make a nest there!

Oooh that sounds lovely! Add some fabric on the walls, some fairy lights, a curtain… I’d never leave!
I did think about adding a curtain to my setup to make it 4 walls, but the air circulation would probably suuuck.
