    For context, afaik UK people sometimes call women “birds”. Similar to “chicks”. Adds another layer to the comic.

      UK people would say ‘shat’ not ‘shit’ though. We’d also likely call it a jet wash or jet washer.

      I’ve always enjoyed “Broad” as a slang term for women.

      It’s old-timey & just misogynistic enough that people can’t tell if you’re for real or making a joke.

          FWIW, I’ve only ever said it jokingly, usually accompanied with a looney toons gangster accent and several “Nyeahs”.

          I did feel bad for laughing once in the gym locker room when someone described a female bodybuilder as “The Broad broad,” because I really don’t think he meant it jokingly or he would have said it to her face.
