This is well documented. China realized it could afford to cover these people and that if thet did not they would have a problem similar to America very quickly. They spent the money rather than letting people go without preventative care which is cheaper thab emergency care in the long run. Tell ypu what you go look for proof that they didn’t improve healthcare between 2000-2025 with a specific focus on 2009-now and I’ll find you proof of that.

People got uppity and they coded the area red so those people had to be quarantined and could be violently detained openly “for public health”…when it was just a protest they didn’t like.)
