minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilinkEnglish3•edit-26 days agoNew Amsterdam is different, that was hundreds of years ago before there were millions of printed maps, and it’s a different thing to rename own landmarks after a conquest versus something which isn’t within your country.
That’s an interesting theory, we may just test that out.
