Elon musk complained (quoted an account totally not operated by him) about r/whitepeopletwitter (reddit equivalent of [email protected]) commenting stuff along the lines of “these people are doing a lot of shit for people who are flammable” and “these people have names and addresses”. As usual, spez only did anything because a lot of people were complaining.

A lot of people started calling for violence against Musk’s cronies at DoGE.

I don’t know if it was “a lot” or “basically all of them” though, /u/spez is a trumpet so who knows.

Reddit alleged that mods were not removing comments calling for “violence”

I dont understand why people just buy this narrative as face value as ESP here lol

Lemmy.world mods consider anything favourable to luigi as call for violence…

Yeah. It’s obvious that trolls and bad actors from far right subs and x are contributing to leftist subs being shut down

That’s the thing… The most extreme view points are either bad faith actors or the feds.

Then mods or police can get involved. This is a classic set up.

I don’t understand why adult people on here who act like this behavior is in good faith.

Any quality shit poster can express themselves in legal manner hence why Lemmy.world mods went from “inciting violence is illegal” to any support for luigi is a ban.

They don’t care about legality, it is about supressing anti regime sentiments

The funny part is, the mods were removing comments like that, the sheer amount of them just made it hard to do so.
