That’s not idiots. That’s people that don’t make much money, hate their job, and saw an opportunity to leave with some change in their pocket while dumpster fire is just smouldering and not a full blown blaze yet.
I agree. And for someone that doesn’t make much money and who was planning to leave the country anyway for their own safety, 20k is enough to pay for a plane ticket and survive for a few weeks/months.
It doesn’t work that well, since that’s less than 1% of federal employees.
