I chose a common drug that is prescribed when doctors run out of options but must provide a solution.

No, you chose the first mental health drug that came to mind, not knowing that SSRIs and benzos are two very different classes of drug. Because, again, you have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about.

I’m talking about lazy doctors whi diagnose “stress” and prescribe anti-depressant drugs as a generic solution.

I’m sorry if that was your personal experience, but it is far from the modal experience and shouldn’t be used as a basis for how we evaluate medical treatment or medications themselves. Like I said, you have no idea what you’re talking about.

If I send you an article about a horrific car crash, would you conclude that the majority of drivers are killed in car accidents?

                Who said majority?

But we need to recognize that there exist lazy doctors cars that crash.

if you had a doctor Rx Xanax for your fibromyalgia they were giving you more credit than you realize, since they never actually give that out unless they have no choice… they also almost never give out Prozac… what meds did they give you? Was it Lyrica, one of the drugs meant to treat Fibro? Was it Wellbutrin, an SN(D)RI which also treats Fibro? Celexa? Effexor? Because THOSE ARE ALL USED TO TREAT FIBRO, WHICH YOU CLAIM TO HAVE???

Would you also like by blood work and full family history?

It’s not just fibromyalgia symptoms. So many times the “stress” excuse is rolled out by lazy doctors, but it’s never mentioned by ones that actually investigate the causes.
