Do we need a remake of a game that absolutely holds up? Both gameplay and graphics. I’m pretty sure you can boot up MW and have as much fun as You did in 2012. Last time I played it was around 3 years ago.

I’m of the mind that modern hardware (w/emu) and higher internal res is enough. It lets the triangles be more triangly. Other enhancements too based on user preference or game.

Plus, most remasters seem to be bloat that strips away masterful technical features for likely needlessly-uncompressed audio/video anyway. Often glaring design issues aren’t fixed either.

Side note that there is a NFS:MW from 2005 (same box-art as meme)… I am not sure if that was intentional, or if they were unaware or if the meme was before the 2012 remaster entry.

It wasn’t a remaster, and not really a remake either, as the games are completely different. I think it would’ve been better off released with its own title, or even in a different series as it was very Burnout-y, being made by Criterion.

My bad. I didn’t even know, there are 2 NFSMWs. I’ve played the first one from 2005. Both when it was released and recently.

Yeah, I didn’t realize there were 2. I meant the one from 2005.
