I don’t know, if in my country the government started to fire public employees just because a billionaire is on a ketamine overdose, there will be rioting in the street and the parliament will be set on fire. I don’t think you can really OD on ketamine. Not so you would stop breathing etc. He does have the bloated, unhealthy face of an addict but he’s a billionaire, he’ll probably have a long life.

It could potentially stop Americans from sleepwalking into the decline of their country, perhaps. Maybe even generate the political will to get rid of Trump. But none of that is even close to happening. The easy road off this path hasn’t been available since last November. The path out of this mess now necessary leads through suffering.

If pearl harbour 2.0 happened, eg North Korea attacked the US and the american people knew that Putin was behind it… I think they would rise up against trump if he didn’t take action. Thing is, trumps nothing if not an opportunist, he’d know that. So he’d do at least the minimum to placate the people. He’d have no choice.
The problem is Trump doesn’t care about soldiers, Americans, or people other than himself. Maybe Congress could be pressured to act, though.
