Nothing quite says “high-performance muscle car” like a popup ad for a Mopar Extended Warranty covering your whole center console. That’s right, Dodge Charger owners are now experiencing an exciting new feature: pop-up ads that appear every time the vehicle stops at a light. This absolute garbage feature was spotted in the wild, take a look here.

Is a forced subscription to use basic features included in this supposed “cool fucking shit”?

Because they do that, now I won’t tell you how to live but I would not categorize selling basic features back to me as “cool fucking shit”

yeah, I don’t get why Hyundai doesn’t run it’s servers for free thus avoiding having to have the customer be charged for it.

also they should be developing the app for free, by just not paying developers, what a genius idea you have, let me contact Hyundai Corporate right away.

Remote start doesn’t need a server, Unlocking your doors doesn’t need a server and temp controls don’t need a server. These are thing that are controlled and operated locally, But Hyundai sure as fuck thinks they do.

You’re right they shouldn’t charge for it. That’s why you buy a car, it’s not like they don’t make money selling you a car.
