Honestly if a very strong Democrat were to emerge and say in very clear terms that they are planning to be their retribution, and if people believe them, I bet it’d be quite a wave.

Retribution for those bribing politicians (like Musk). Retribution for rolling back clean energy initiatives that would make things better for all Americans.
