Rufous Owls are one of my favourite birds.
So lucky to see quite a few around Darwin.
Quite difficult to find a clear view of this one today… it was tucked up behind a lot of tall scrubby trees and there were not many ‘holes’ I could peer through.
I think this is my spirit animal here.
I have that same unamused and unimpressed face.
This one’s been in my queue for a bit, and I can’t help but smile every time I see it. The face is just amazing! 😁
