I graduated from UF in 2004. Thing about Gainesville is that there is the college side, and then there is the rest of Gainesville, which is still stuck in the 1940’s.

Yeah, no doubt. Gainesville would be like all the other little nothing north Florida towns if not for the university.

There’s a lot of good about it and just like Texas it’s more of a purple state than a red one.
