I think it is fine as long as: you recognize that the actions of the band were/are wrong. you aren’t gonna become a church burner (you know you won’t be influenced by the band). you don’t support the band e.g. don’t buy merch, go to shows etc. you appreciate the band/music from a purely artistic standpoint.
minus-square@oryxOPMlinkEnglish5•1 year agoIn his case, Burzum is totally unassociated from his political views, so it’s not difficult for me. Generally that goes for any band in my opinion; it’s when the music itself is NSBM or whatever that it becomes an issue.
