Things I hear from my father in law, and conservative friends:

• “Global warming- bah. Back in the 70’s they were telling us we’re going into an ice age.”
• “And they keep telling us it’s getting warmer.” - anyone, every time we hit a cold snap. “Well, yeah it’s warm, but have you heard about all of the solar flares. Also, the moon’s orbit has shifted and that’s causing heat too.”
