Feddit.org has been promoting a fake, libelous edited screenshot as proof of dbzer0 being a Nazi instance.

This has now been proven FAKE with a working WayBack Machine link.

Compare the users, the @'s, the emojis. There are a few differences as this was taken later, but this is the original post that was modified to show dbzer0 and quokk.au as being targetted by Nazis.

Here is where Feddit.org has been promoting this lie, with the full backing of the admins.

    This actually proves it was real…

    The first screenshot was live on the link, until a db0 admin replied to it…

    Then it was deleted, it just 404’d…

    But now, now the link works again.

    And I was curious why it would be archiving fringe social media, it archived once an hour ago.

    So after the Nazis deleted it, they put this in it’s place and archived it hoping no one would notice the timestamp, and you almost immediately posted it here…

    You’re probably only a single Kevin Bacon or two away from the actual Nazis, if you share where you heard this from, it would be incredibly beneficial in rooting them out.

      Archive.org has a function for any user to request that a URL be archived, IIRC.

      Did you go to the link and see it? The only link we were given wasn’t the one that’s on the Wayback machine, and it lead to nothing. Hard to be certain since the thread got deleted.

      I’d like to know what you clicked on and what you saw, because it really seems like you are assuming and playing along because it suits you.

      Are you saying you saw the screenshot that was originally posted live on their website as it was??
