With GOP Rep. Nancy Mace’s embarrassing fifth-place finish in the South Carolina gubernatorial primary Tuesday, three of the four House Republicans who forced the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files will soon no longer hold elected office.
And this is why as a foreigner I’m confused about US politics because if I google when did public became aware of the files - the first bombshells were in 2019 (Trump won in 2017), but it really only started trending in 2025 - after the elections.

A fairly large number of MAGA types believe him when he says he’s not in it, and it’s all just a set up. To be clear, my grandma lives is Missouri and if you go to watch the news, the least right wing is fox and there pretty much is no not-right wing; so they’re very heavily propagandized.
