does it look like it might be baby’s breath to you? they use that a lot out here. still toxic, just less toxic and would explain the orange one’s poops yesterday.

No, see how the baby’s breath has one little flower on each branched stem, but the other one has a stem leading to a tiny umbel (cluster of tiny flowers on a single stem).

PictureThis is the best plant ID app. It’s $40 for a year. It’s got more than you need, it will like, diagnose your plants with specific nutrient deficiencies and stuff, but it’s worth it just for the top shelf plant ID.

oooo, this might be just what i need to turn my black thumb into a green one. I am going to pretend you and I live in Canada. Do you or anyone else in a legal area have any experience using it to diagnose nutrient deficiencies in the newly legal plant? no one from illegal areas respond i don’t want fedposting

I don’t, but it knew my camellia bush needed the pH of its soil lowered.

so what specifically is that so i can identify it in the future? pulled it just in case.

the ones in the little vases are plastic, the big vase is real.

thanks. we just got a costco bouquet. they haven’t had anything cat-toxic in them before, so this is surprising. guess we’re sticking with roses for the cats for a while

both cats are acting normally, so I’m hoping this is a plant misidentification but that shit is gone.

It’s not super bad, like lilies. More of an irritant than a toxin. It could also be true queen Anne’s lace, which is also mildly toxic.

My initial thought was poison hemlock, but Costco wouldn’t sell that. It grows in ditches around here and not everyone knows you shouldn’t handle it or make bouquets, since it’s pretty. It’s the poison that Socrates drank for his execution.

me too! and no worries! i’d rather be safe and have two cats than cocky and have no cats
