      Lol!!! I thought this too! But I think they mean that 28,000 acres is what is on fire and it just is West.

      Like the other comment says, I think it should have been written:

      This is the scene in Fruita, Colorado, as the sun sets, with the roughly 28,000 acre Snyder Fire burning to the west.

      I can’t even imagine how far away that is. Does anyone have that in football fields
