I guess actually trying to use the 'net kinda sucks on things like ios (and I don’t use Android much, but I think the range of browsers and their features there tend to be better), but on the desktop, paywall is not that much of a thing, except for maybe a handful of places, like maybe substack.
Well isn’t that handy as shit. On iOS I’m frequently able to circumvent paywalls with Safari’s “hide distracting items”, and others with adblockers, but there are some exceptions that this seems to work well for. Thanks for sharing that tip!
