Just wanted to share my annual tradition: we watch what we call the “abridged” version of Independence Day It’s where we watch until the aliens blow up the White House, then we applaud and go eat =)

I would be all for someone that age being president, but man… Roosevelt was 42 when he became president, but he wasn’t elected when he became president. He’s the youngest person to be president so far. Kennedy was 43 when he was elected. Clinton and Ulysses S. Grant were both 46. Obama and Grover Cleveland were both 47. Franklin Price was 48. James Garfield and James Polk were both 49. Everyone else was 50+. Obama, Clinton, and Kennedy were the only people under 50 who were elected president in the last 100 years.
