Congress is preparing to give Israel unprecedented privileges via the 2027 National Defense Authorization Act. Section 219 of the draft NDAA directs the secretary of defense to expand integration of the U.S. and Israeli military sectors. If Section 219 becomes law, U.S. and Israeli militaries will be joined at the hip.
How much longer until Isreal can just start drafting Americans citizens to fight and die for it in some holy war genocide?
It’s kind of always been that way, right? Reactionary racists wanted a way to get rid of Jews in their country and nationalist Jews wanted an ethnostate. The Christian support for Zionism hinges on their belief that there needs to be a Jewish state in Israel so that everyone there can be converted to Christianity or die.
It goes beyond that. In my country the reactionary politics are Islamists. They too, while giving “boycott Israel” speeches and sometimes throwing weird conspiracy stuff, their own companies enjoy trade with Israel. Some where documented by journalists fo selling steel and even jet fuel!
