    Plot twist: they can’t navigate entire cities. Some very well maintained streets, maybe.

      Maybe we should build streets especially for them, then. Except I don’t think they’ll need the full width of a normal street. With their computer-driven precision they could probably get by with just a couple of narrow strips of metal.

        And you could probably optimize traffic by increasing the size of the cars to include a lot more seats, or even standing room. Or even connecting multiple cars together for efficiency if there are a lot of other people who want to take the same route.

        Pretty sure some wooden planks in the middle would do wonders for stability and durability. Maybe some gravel too. Why has nobody thought of this yet??
