I mean… it was bound to happen eventually. Just because you’re the worthless leader who’s sole purpose in the story is to be the vessel that most of the audience (white boys) can visualize themselves as doesn’t mean you’re going to be useless all of the time. Just, ya know, most of the time.
The Fox X-Men series might’ve had a rough exit with X3, but they did make the right call to have Storm be Xavier’s successor rather than useless Cyclops
