    Where I live we…just use comma. So 2999,95. No reason to add useless separators in the middle, and if we do for clarity sake, we use space (2 999,95).

    This is gonna irk you further, isn’t it…? xD

      Wish everyone just followed the ISO norm. It dictates that you can either use a period or a comma as decimal separator. And for the thousands separator, just use a space.

      We use, if needed, apostrophes or upticks. 2’999,95. No danger of messing up between . and , that way.

      Also let’s just wait until that person learns that not every country separates into blocks of 3 and how many options of mixing and matching there are in use.
