If the emperor had a text to speech is honestly a pretty good primer. Just remember that it is only about 90% canon. They’ll get into the full history of the galaxy about 12-15 episodes in, but they are fairly short up till that point
I miss TTS so much, it was honestly going in a more fun direction than the actual 40k canon did. Always thought it kind of ironic how litigious GW are given their own penchant for plagiarism.
Well said, since the entire GW backstory is just Dune, expanded edition. Other than the emperor turning into a worm and giving up on his empire, and all the “royal family” incest, though there is probably plenty of incest in WH40K if one looks, I’m sure that both Chaos and the Drukhari are practicing that, somewhere.
IP laws need to be completely overturned. They don’t help the original artist and never have, they just allow Disney to own all the ideas.
