    each Member State is to make at least one EU Digital Identity Wallet available to its citizens and residents by the end of 2026.

    This only says to make it available, not to make it mandatory to use or have, and it certainly doesn’t say anything about being bound to hardware.
    So my point stands, these fearmongering anti EU posts are just annoying and misleading sometimes to the point where they are outright lies.
