NATO countries in Europe have more than doubled their arms imports between 2020 and 2024, with the US supplying over 64% of the total – up from 52% over the previous five-year period.

Saw this while reading some related stuff about Canada. Article from 2025 but it doesn’t seem to have been posted.

    The numbers are there.
    When the share of USA imports increased from 52% to 64% from one 5 year period to the next, our dependence has clearly gone up, and the share of our own production is reduced from 48% to 36%.

      I was reading it as the import doubled and the US share increased to 64% of the imported arms. But you must be correct because the other countries that EU is importing from must have a very small share compared to US.
