Got to help out this new GHO today. It needed some meds, so that went inside one of its snacks. I had to wait until it decided to eat that one first.
After a couple minutes, it scarfed up its loaded snack and started clicking at me, so I fed it 3 more tasty bits!
It wasn’t so into puffing up at me, just making a bitey face and it had a really loud beak click, though that may just be since I normally am working outside with these larger owls.
Really great face though. It looked like this every time I peeled in on it.
Hey concierge, gimme some more of those hors d’oeuvres would yah?
I get laughed at for trying to enhance texture and presentation of the animals’ food, but I think they’re worth it! 😊
