Well who else is he going to work with? The voters hate him. Democrats, as a party, will happily disenfranchise their own voters, and cede ruling to the other party, so long as they get to stay in place as managers. Its the one consistent thing about Democrats. They care less about winning elections than they doing maintaining personal control of the party.
If the only people willing to work with you are jackbooted Nazis doing corrupt Nazis things, then maybe you shouldn’t step down. There’s a reason we hate his guts.

I wish the voters hated him more during the Primary but apparently his DSA opponent was down a 50% margin before dropping out.
