What would be nice is if this very illegal offer was actually investigated and prosecuted. Edit: After I thought about this for a minute it’s not much different then: “Elect us and we’ll cut your taxes by $5,000.” “Vote for us and we’ll cancel $10,000 in student debt.” “Give us Congress and we’ll increase Social Security benefits.” But I guess coming from him everything seems illegal and grifty.
