People say this and maybe it’s largely true but the only one I went to was in greece and there were some extremely attractive young people there.

Did you instantly grow a boner, though?

Usually it doesn’t work that way.

Source: Went to nude campings a lot with my parents, even during puberty, arguably the most boner prone patch of life. Only once did I have to seek refuge in the pool due to a heads up moment.

If you are around naked people a lot, it does desexualize the nakedness by a big margin.

Haha, maybe not an instant boner but I found it hard to not look. I would not respond well to being naked around my parents. Not for boner reasons of course.

Yeah that happens. It really is curious how hiding certain aspects of our body leads to fetishization. It gets better over time, but just like with beautiful/weird looking people that are fully dressed you always tend to sneak a couple of peeks, and that’s ok (unless you’re litterally gawking)

I dunno, is it fetishization to be turned on by a nude person of the gender you’re attracted to? Seems healthy to me, tbh. (not that fetishes are unhealthy, I just mean they are acquired whereas naked people turning us on seems innate for most)

No that isn’t the issue, but the desire to see those areas usually covered with fabric, or those covered by L-shaped duvets in media is. Tits and vaginas/penises aren’t that more special than other parts of the anatomy, but our tendency to cover them up and vulnerability toward having others see them is a societal construct.

This means that seeing those parts is more sexually laden, thus very commonly fetishized. It’s not unhealthy, but it is a bit weird. Take n Janet Jackson’s nip slip for instance, or that gore is more normalized than people’s bodies.

                Yes they absolutely are.

I asked if this was actually fetishization, a question worth asking, and you just insisted that it was to be taken for granted to be so and that it’s a “problem”.
