Corporate donors to Donald Trump’s ballroom and participants in business deals brokered by Trump family members are expected to be among the first targets of investigations if Democrats take control of the House or Senate in November’s midterm elections, multiple Capitol Hill staffers, lawmakers and attorneys told Reuters in recent days.
Control of either chamber would give Democrats subpoena power and funding to bolster investigative staff, enabling them to launch probes as early as February and potentially triggering lengthy legal battles that would place the Trump family business empire squarely in the spotlight.
The investigations could dominate the second half of Trump’s term after two years of dealmaking in which the Trump family expanded into crypto, drones, artificial intelligence and prediction markets, while the president’s personal wealth grew by an estimated $2.2 billion.
I liked seeing Ivanka show up for the Xi summit at the White House. That girl has flip flopped more than Trump in an orange tanning shower.
She went from Daddy’s girl, to little miss Jewish independent, to supportive daughter, to distancing for her brand, to administrative advisor, to forgetting the family corruption, to throwing daddy under the bus, to distancing for brand again, to sucking up to avoid punishment, to once again an administrative advisor but this time for her very Chinese brand.
That family does seem to live for the moment.

I think the sense they meant was more like “crime family.”
In a few weeks, we’ll see that the Chinese government has trademarked several of her bootlegged clothing designs.
When did she ever throw her dad under the bus? Pretty there would have been a national holiday declared and three days of celebration, so I’m skeptical.
During Jan 6th testimony. She said that she pleaded with her dad to end the violence, supposedly. She also called them patriots before the supposed pleading, so she could have been playing both sides seeing as things were happening nobody really knew what the result was going to be. Her statement about wanting to end the violence was even used in closing arguments for his impeachment showing that people close to him knew what was going on and he did nothing to stop it.
Didn’t know thanks! Pretty on point for her to say whatever’s most likely to save her own skin, whatever the outcome may be. Also amazing to be reminded that his reporting this full-blown insurrection had exactly zero consequences…
